As soon as I arrived in London, I headed down to Westminster Bridge to get tourist shot #1 in front of Parliment.
Westminster Bridge and Parliament.
The London Eye - an overpriced ferris wheel that I didn't go on, but it looked cool!
The British museum, the finest museum in town without a lick of anything British!
The actual Rosetta Stone!
Cool statue - I want a statue of myself in this style.
I did check prices to go see this play, but they were a bit ridiculous!
St. Partick's Day parade
Sweet sculture of Robert Clive in Whitehall.
The room where Winston Churchill ran WWII for England. He of course sat in the comfy seat in the center.
Buckingham Palace...the queen's weekday home
Windsor Castle...the queen's weekend home. The flag in the top right was the royal ensignia, indicating that the queen was at Windsor at the moment. I looked for her, she didn't show up.
Windsor Castle
The apartments where the queen lives. Not too shabby.
Stonehenge. It was quite wet! I could have jumped into a pool and not been that soaked!
A portion of the changing of the guard at Windsor.
Oxford
Old rocks.
Cool chapel in Oxford
Very historic pub!
Harry Potter's room under the stairs
Hogwarts!
The Great Hall
Ron's bed
Dumbledore's Office
The Burrow (the Weasley's house)
The Horicruxes
They included paper models of all of the buildings featured in the movies - really cool!
Hogwarts!
ENORMOUS shooting model of Hogwarts. The ramp took you all around the castle.
Diagon Alley
The EARLY morning train to Paris from St Pancris station. And yes, we did go through the tunnel under the channel (it's amazing how many people ask - HOW ELSE WOULD WE MAKE IT!)
Artsy Eiffel Tower shot
Arc
Parisian bridge - quite fancy
Eiffel Tower - its much taller than I expected.
Notre Dame
Inside Notre Dame - IMPRESSIVE!
I climbed up to the towers of Notre Dame - great opportunity for some great photos
